Purebred Akaushi
After a year or so into ranching, I realized that there were certain genetic qualities in my cattle that were important to our ranching model, and that selecting for those qualities, did not sacrifice the quality and marbling of the beef.
Our herd genetics focuses on naturally polled Akaushi (93.75% or higher) which saves on de-horning, or issues in the field with horned cattle.
I’ve selected genetics from top US and Australian breeders that blends calving ease, maternal excellence, growth on a primary forage-based diet and docility.

Animal husbandry is my top priority. From rotational grazing practices, to the care of the cows and calves, to a focused nutritional & healthcare program, my priority is a healthy, happy herd, at all times.
